Tattoo Removal

WHAT IS TATTOO REMOVAL?

With over a fifth of UK adults estimated to have at least one tattoo, it’s no surprise the demand for tattoo removal has significantly increased over the years.

Here at PureSkin, we strive to completely eliminate every single trace of the tattoo(s) our clients need removing. This is why we use the advanced Harmony Pro, capable of safely removing tattoos of all sizes and colours.

The Harmony Pro successfully harnesses multiple wavelengths of laser light – each targets a different ink colour to ensure full, comprehensive tattoo removal at the end of treatment.

High intensity beams of light are targeted directly to the tattoo. Pigment from the tattoo then absorbs the light, causing the ink particles to break-up. Over time, the body then absorbs these broken-up flakes of pigment, revealing ink-free, clear skin that’s as good as new.

Risk of scarring and hyperpigmentation is minimal with this treatment.

We use some of the most up-to-date, effective equipment and techniques to administer our treatments. So, whichever procedure you choose here at PureSkin, you’ll receive a truly advanced degree of treatment guaranteed to provide successful, life-changing results.

Established in 2013, we’ve since developed a trustworthy, reliable reputation among clients due to our professional yet flexible service.

We understand the process of any aesthetic treatment can be daunting, especially if it’s your first time, which is why we approach every single case with care and empathy, ensuring to put you at ease and make you feel as comfortable as possible.

    What To Expect

During tattoo removal using the Harmony Pro, skin will be initially cleansed to ensure the light beams are as targeted and effective as possible.

As the laser is passed over the treatment area, you may feel a mild pricking sensation throughout. Because of this, a topical anaesthetic cream may be applied before the procedure begins to minimise discomfort as much as possible.

Once finished, skin may experience redness and feel a little sensitive.

    AFTER TREATMENT

In terms of aftercare, it’s highly recommended to use a high factor SPF at all times over the treatment area (even if you’re not planning on spending time in the sun). This will ensure UV rays won’t tamper with the effectiveness of pigment absorption.

The number of treatments needed will significantly differ from client to client. Dependent on both the size and colour of your tattoo, multiple treatment sessions are likely to be needed for the tattoo to disappear entirely.
